Trade
The Trade page shows your open positions and pending entry orders from every connected exchange, refreshed automatically every few seconds.
Open positions
The Trade page lists your open futures positions from every connected exchange and refreshes them automatically every couple of seconds.
Each position is a card with these fields:
- Entry — the price at which you opened the position.
- Mark — the current market price, used to calculate P&L.
- Size — the number of contracts.
- Cost — margin locked for the position (your own capital in it, not the leveraged size).
- Liq — the forced liquidation price. The higher the leverage, the closer it sits to Entry.
- TP / SL — take-profit and stop-loss levels. If the exchange holds several orders (a ladder), every price is shown, stacked, each with its own size.
- ROE — return on the margin committed to the position, times 100%. Usually the same margin shown in Cost; if the exchange has topped up margin along the way to push back liquidation, ROE is measured against the margin at entry, while Cost shows the current (possibly larger) margin — so the two numbers can differ slightly.
An amber TP or SL label means something needs attention: ! means it is not set at all, and ⚠ means it is set but the order size does not cover the whole position.
Click a card to collapse or expand its details. The candle button opens a chart with lines for Entry, TP, SL and Liq (one line per level when there is a ladder). The eye button pauses the whole section: no requests are sent and the list is cleared until you click it again.
Pending limit orders
Entry orders that have not filled yet appear below your positions and refresh automatically every couple of seconds.
- Price — the limit price at which the order will fill.
- Cost — the margin the order will lock once filled, calculated like a position's Cost.
- Value — the full notional value of the order (price times size).
- TP / SL — the take-profit and stop-loss attached to the order. An amber ! next to the label means it is not set.
- X% away — how far the current price is from the order price, adjusted for leverage. It replaces ROE, because a pending order has no P&L yet.
Click a card to collapse or expand it. The eye button pauses the section in the same way as for positions.
The ✕ button cancels an order. It appears only when you have a Write key on the exchange card and Manage Positions is on (see How connecting works).
The position chart
Open a chart from any position or order to see candles with your entry, take-profit, stop-loss, liquidation price and pending orders drawn on them.
Press the candle button on a position card or an order card. The chart shows every position and every pending order for that symbol, not only the one you clicked.
- Candles and intervals. Choose 1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h or 1D at the top; it opens on 1m. The newest candle updates live.
- Entry. A label at your entry price shows the live P&L, green when you are in profit, red when in loss and grey at zero, whichever side you hold.
- TP, SL and Liq. Take-profit and stop-loss are drawn as labelled lines, and the liquidation price as its own line. If the exchange holds several TP or SL orders (a ladder), every level gets a line.
- Pending orders. Limit orders are drawn at their price.
- Following the chart. The labels stay on their price when you scroll or zoom.
With a Write key and Manage Positions on, the lines can also be dragged to change take-profit, stop-loss or a limit order's price; see Closing positions and editing orders.
Closing positions and editing orders
With a Write key and Manage Positions on, you can close a position, cancel an order and move take-profit and stop-loss from the Trade page.
These actions are off until you set them up: add a Write key on the exchange card and switch on Manage Positions (see How connecting works). Manage Positions needs two-factor authentication on your account. Without it you only see your positions.
Close a position
Press the ✕ button on a position card. BitMe asks for confirmation: it will place a market order that closes the full position at the current price, and this cannot be undone. Press Close Position to confirm.
Cancel a pending order
Press ✕ on a pending order card, then Cancel Order. The order is cancelled on the exchange.
Move take-profit and stop-loss on the chart
Open a position's chart with the candle button. Its take-profit and stop-loss are drawn as labelled lines.
- Drag a TP or SL label up or down to a new price. A Confirm and Undo pill appears at the position's Entry label; one Confirm applies the TP and SL changes together.
- A level that is not set yet shows a dashed label that you can drag to set it.
- A × on a label removes that level.
- You can also drag the price line of a pending limit order to move its entry price, then confirm. Only the entry price moves; a take-profit or stop-loss attached to the order is not draggable.
Dragging works for single TP and SL levels on Bybit, OKX, BloFin and Binance. If a position has several TP or SL orders (a ladder), the lines are shown but cannot be dragged, and neither can a symbol held long and short at the same time.
Your Write key must have trade permission and never withdrawal. Alerts and monitoring never use it.
Notes on an open position
Every position card has a note icon next to the chart button. It opens a small panel where you can write down why you took the trade, add tags, and attach up to four screenshots.
Nothing is saved until you press Save — writing a note is entirely optional, and a position you never comment on behaves exactly as before.
- Tags — a free-text, comma-separated list (for example
breakout, fomo). Use whatever words make sense to you; the same tags you've used before show up again in the Journal's tag filter once the trade closes. - Notes — a free-text field for your reasoning or plan.
- Screenshots — press Add screenshot to pick a file, or paste an image straight from your clipboard (for example right after a Win+Shift+S or Cmd+Shift+4 snip) while the panel is open. Up to four per position.
Once the position closes and your trade history syncs, the same note, tags and screenshots carry over automatically to that trade in the Journal — you don't write it twice.

Multi-exchange position tracker
Trading on more than one exchange usually means several apps, several tabs and no single answer to “how much am I exposed, and how am I doing?”. BitMe connects Binance, Bybit, OKX and BloFin through read-only API keys and brings positions, equity, balances and results into one account.
Liquidation & stop-loss alerts
The classic futures mistakes are quiet ones: a position opened without a stop-loss, a leveraged loss that keeps growing while you are away, a margin buffer that shrinks unnoticed. BitMe watches for exactly these and messages you on Telegram before they turn into a liquidation.
Is an API key safe?
It can be, if you give the key the least permission that does the job and the tool stores it properly. Here is what to check before you paste a key anywhere, and how BitMe handles each point.
