OKX position monitor with Telegram alerts

BitMe watches your OKX futures positions around the clock with a read-only API key and messages you on Telegram when P&L, stop-loss coverage or margin risk needs your attention. It works with both the global and the EEA version of OKX.

What is different about OKX

  • API passphrase — OKX keys come with a passphrase in addition to the key and secret; BitMe asks for all three.
  • Global and EEA — set the base URL of the platform you use (for example the EEA endpoint) and BitMe talks to the right one.
  • Demo trading keys — switch on the demo option to monitor an OKX demo account, a safe way to test alerts without risking money.
  • Stop-loss coverage — OKX stop-loss and take-profit orders are separate orders attached to the position, so BitMe checks that one exists and that it covers the full position size, and alerts you when it covers only part of it.

Gold, silver and other contracts

OKX lists more than crypto: contracts on gold (XAU) and silver (XAG) trade as USDT-settled perpetual swaps like any other pair. BitMe reads whatever USDT or USDC perpetual contracts your account holds rather than a fixed list of coins, so these contracts show up next to your crypto positions.

Connect OKX

  1. Create an API key on OKX with read-only permission and a passphrase you will remember. Do not enable withdrawals.
  2. In BitMe open Config → OKX and enter the key, secret and passphrase. For OKX EEA set the EEA base URL; for a demo key switch on the demo option.
  3. Start the BitMe alerts bot on Telegram and enter your chat ID in Config.
  4. Pick your alert thresholds or keep the defaults.

OKX trades also flow into the same automatic trading journal as your Bybit and BloFin trades.

Common questions

Does BitMe work with OKX in the EU (EEA)?

Yes. Enter the EEA base URL when you add your key. EEA and global OKX are separate platforms, so a key created on one does not work on the other.

Can I try it with an OKX demo account?

Yes. Create a demo trading API key on OKX and switch on the demo option in Config. BitMe then reads the demo account instead of your live one.

Do I need to allow trading?

No. A read-only key covers monitoring, alerts, the journal and reports. A trade-enabled key is optional and only for managing positions from BitMe.
