Documentation: Strategies
Strategies
Strategies is an experimental test module. It sends alerts about setups and can optionally place orders. Nothing in it is a guarantee or advice.
How the Strategies Bot works
Strategies is an experimental, test module: a bot scans markets for trade setups and sends you alerts, and can optionally place orders for you.
Experimental module. It is still being tested, is not part of the core monitoring and journal, and its results are not guaranteed. It is not financial advice.
The bot looks at price data of the symbols you choose about every 60 seconds. When a setup defined by a strategy appears, it sends you a Telegram message with the entry, stop-loss and take-profit, and records it as a signal. The conditions of each strategy are managed by the BitMe team.
- Switch the bot on or off at the top of the Strategies page. The status dot is green and pulsing when the engine is active, yellow when it is slow (a delay of 10–30 seconds) and red when it is offline or switched off.
- Telegram. Press Start at @BitMeSignalsBot and set your Chat ID in Config → Telegram. Telegram does not deliver messages from a bot you have never started.
- Alerts first. With Live orders off (the default), the bot only informs you; it places nothing.
Signals the bot finds are listed on the Signals page.
The Strategies page
Choose which symbols the bot watches, how much you risk per trade and whether it may place orders, and review recent results.
Experimental module: the figures describe test results, not a promise of future performance.
- Strategy enabled. Switches a strategy on for your account.
- Symbols. The symbols to monitor, chosen from the list offered. If none are offered yet, the team has not enabled any.
- Exchange for signals. The exchange whose prices and orders are used.
- Skip weekends. Ignores setups on weekends.
- Risk per trade and Live orders are described in the next section.
- Statistics for the last 7 days. Total signals, win rate, expectancy per trade, average time to resolve, current streak and total R. R is the amount you risk on one trade: a trade stopped out loses 1R.
- Chart. Signals of the last 30 days; press Open chart to see one on a price chart.
- View all signals opens the Signals page.
The page needs an exchange API key in Config. Without it the strategies are unavailable.
Risk per trade and live orders
Risk per trade sets how much you lose if a stop-loss is hit, and Live orders lets the bot place real limit orders on your exchange.
Experimental module. Live orders trade real money. Start with Live orders off and test with a demo account or a small risk.
- Risk per trade. The amount you are willing to lose on one trade. The bot sizes the position from it: quantity equals the risk divided by the distance between entry and stop-loss.
- Live orders. When on, the bot places real limit orders on your exchange using your Write key (set in Config, trade permission only, never withdrawal). When off, signals are informational and nothing is placed. If two-factor authentication is on, turning it on asks for a code, and it needs two-factor authentication to be set up for your account.
- After an order is placed, the bot manages the orders it created, for example cancelling an entry that was not filled in time. On Binance the stop-loss and take-profit are placed right after the entry fills, within about a minute; until then the position has no stop.
If no Write key is set, the page says so and links to Config.

Is an API key safe?
It can be, if you give the key the least permission that does the job and the tool stores it properly. Here is what to check before you paste a key anywhere, and how BitMe handles each point.
Liquidation & stop-loss alerts
The classic futures mistakes are quiet ones: a position opened without a stop-loss, a leveraged loss that keeps growing while you are away, a margin buffer that shrinks unnoticed. BitMe watches for exactly these and messages you on Telegram before they turn into a liquidation.
Multi-exchange position tracker
Trading on more than one exchange usually means several apps, several tabs and no single answer to “how much am I exposed, and how am I doing?”. BitMe connects Binance, Bybit, OKX and BloFin through read-only API keys and brings positions, equity, balances and results into one account.
