Documentation: Signals
Signals
Signals is part of the experimental Strategies module. It records what the bot found; it is not a recommendation.
The Signals page
The Signals page lists every setup the bot has detected, with its entry, risk-reward and result.
Experimental module: signals are test output, not recommendations.
Open it from Signals in the menu, next to Strategies. It keeps the full history of every strategy in a table that works like the journal.
Summary and filters
- Summary. The number of signals, the win rate, the total R and how many are still pending, for the current filter. A signal counts as a win when it ended at take-profit or with a trailing profit.
- Filters. Period (Today, Week, Month, Year), strategy, exchange, symbol, direction and result. The filters stay in the page address, so a filtered view can be bookmarked.
- Sorting and pages. Click a column header to sort. The table shows 100 signals per page.
The table
Each row shows the date, strategy, symbol, result (a badge with the R reached), direction, entry, risk-reward (R:R, calculated from the signal's entry, original stop and take-profit) and exchange.
Result badges
- TP ✓ — the take-profit was reached (a win).
- SL ✗ — the stop-loss was hit (a loss).
- TRAIL 📈 — a trailing stop closed it in profit.
- BE ➖ — it was closed at break-even.
- expired — the entry was not filled in time and the signal lapsed.
- waiting — the entry order is still resting on the book.
- open — the entry filled and the position is running.
Signals are recorded whether or not Live orders is on. With it off, nothing is traded; the list only shows what the bot found.
Signal detail and chart
Click a signal to see its details and open the candlestick chart.
The detail shows the Strategy, when the signal was Detected and Closed, the Entry, the Bias or Session the strategy used, the TP and SL levels, the Exchange, the R:R (calculated from entry, original stop and take-profit) and the Achieved R. When the stop was moved to break-even or trailed, a short note says so.
R is the distance from entry to stop-loss: a result of 2R means price moved twice that distance in your favour, and -1R is a full stop-out.
Press View Chart to open the chart with the signal's levels drawn on it, the same chart as on the Strategies page.

Crypto trading journal
A journal you have to fill in by hand tends to be abandoned after a few weeks. BitMe imports your closed futures trades straight from your exchanges, so the numbers are complete and you spend your time reviewing them instead of typing.
Is an API key safe?
It can be, if you give the key the least permission that does the job and the tool stores it properly. Here is what to check before you paste a key anywhere, and how BitMe handles each point.
Bybit position monitor
BitMe connects to your Bybit account with a read-only API key and watches your open futures positions around the clock, so a sharp move, a missing stop-loss or a shrinking margin buffer reaches you on Telegram even when you are away from the screen.
